Another Women's Journey

I recently came across a blog (referred to me from a client) about a women in Hamilton who lost her precious little one very early in her pregnancy, while trying to grieve for her son, found out that she had kidney disease.

Once I started reading her blog, I couldn't stop. What a STRONG, STRONG women. Her faith in God is amazing. Please, take a few and read her blog. Say a prayer for her family. Softball...

Erica has her last softball game on Thursday. Double header starting at 5:50pm. Matt Urban Complex on 32nd st for those of you who are interested in attending. Tournaments start after that, but we haven't gotten the schedule yet.

Yep, she made it home...I was so excited to watch, I forgot to hit the shutter on my camera and missed her actually touching home plate.

Her game this season has improved so much! We are very proud of her.

Last week, she had 2 AWESOME hits, an out at 2nd and 2 outs at 3rd. The last out won them the game. Erica was given the game ball (I took a picture of Erica with her game ball, but I deleted it. OOPS!)!!

Here are some pictures of the trip to Iowa that I took with Doug last week. He was in a semi, it was kind of fun, but not the kind of life style that we would want forever. We traveled through Michigan, into Indiana, Illionois and into Iowa. The 2nd day we were in Iowa & Nebraska & back into Iowa again. The 3rd day we were in Iowa, Missouri & back to Iowa, and into Illionois. We finally made it back the 4th day. It was a long trip, but it was nice to spend some time with Doug. I shot some of these images from in the truck, so it was a bit bumpy and through the glass. We saw alot of flooding in Iowa, and just made it passed the Chicago area where the tornados hit last week. Enjoy the pics and we hope to see you at Erica's games!!
