Flowers & Landscape

I love to work in the yard and watch the flowers bloom in the spring. I thought I would take some pictures of the work we've done and some of the flowers that are finally starting to bloom!

Hosta...



Iris...just bloomed this morning! :)





Rhodies....I love these! I tried to grow them last year, but I killed them. I keep my fingers crossed that these live through the summer. The blooms are beautiful!





I moved a bunch of hosta from the front of the house to the back yard. I wanted the rhodies right up front. The big one under the window and 4 smaller purple ones on the other side.



This lilly planter was made the first year we bought the house. I used bricks and I just couldn't keep them from falling. So my dad and I (well, mostly my dad) built this with landscape timbers. It looks so much better than the bricks. Thanks Dad!! :)



I bought a bunch of perannials last year and this was one of them. I don't remember what it is, so if anyone has a clue, let me know!

Azeala's...They didn't bloom the first year we were here. There was a little pine tree growing right up the middle of it. I removed the tree and it finally bloomed for the first time last year.

My Mothers Day Gift

Erica made me this table in shop class for mothers day. The tile on the top is the same tile used in my kitchen! :) I love this table!!

Memorial Day... Weekend :: Random Snapshots

Erica was pretty busy all weekend. She spent the night at Kimmi's house with Gabby on Friday. They slept outside on the trampoline all night. I was surprised they made it all night long. Saturday Erica spent the night at Gabby's with Kimmi. They spent all day in the pool. So Sunday night was our turn. We had both Gabby and Kimmi.

My brother (Dave), sister in law (Missy) & nephews (Brandon, David-Michael & Riley) came over for a bbq and some basketball.

Erica & Gabby...BFFL's
